The staff at SALT Bar & Bistro is devoted to our customer satisfaction. We always searching for talent from various backgrounds in order to serve the live entertainment needs of Memphis. Our team of professionals provides an exclusive environment and vibe for our guests to let loose and relax, away from the grind and routine of daily life.

Hosts

Hostess plays a critical role in the restaurant as they are the ones who give our guests the first and the last impression of the restaurant and a large part of tSALT Bar & Bistro's effectiveness is orchestrated by Hostess's ability to run a smooth shift. To be a great host, a person should be friendly and warm, and always be working to create the best possible dining experience.

Hospitality Servers

A qualified restaurant server should be friendly, courteous, and fast. They will know how to serve different dishes, and drinks, as well as be able to quickly diffuse tense situations and satisfy customers. The candidate will have a good memory to take and complete large orders without errors. Other requirements include teamwork, cleanliness, and stamina. *Must have a valid TN ABC Permit.

Bussers

Table availability in our restaurant is key to our continuing success. The Busser sets and resets dining room tables in order to maximize prompt table availability for our guests. He/She removes plates, glassware, and silverware when guests have completed their meal and quickly and efficiently re-sets/re-stocks the table for new guests. Bussers are polite and happy to provide outstanding service to all of our guests.

Barbacks

We are looking for a Barback to support our Bartenders and the rest of our staff. You’ll assist with bar opening and closing procedures and perform various behind-the-bar tasks, such as restocking the bar and preparing garnishes. Ultimately, you’ll help ensure that our guests get excellent customer service and enjoy their time at our bar.

Hookah Servers

We are looking for a competent Lounge Hookah Server to take and make hookah orders. You’ll be responsible for our customers’ hookah experiences. A hookah server's responsibilities include ensuring the workstation is clean, preparing coal, and making different hookah flavors. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers. Must be at least 21 years old.

Kitchen Staff

Kitchen staff provide assistance with the preparation of food and are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of dishes, workstations, and food storage facilities. Available positions on the kitchen staff are:

Dishwasher
